Banana Bread

Banana Bread

Preheat the oven to 350 degrees.

Ingredients:

2c         all purpose flour
2          mashed ripe bananas
3/4c     packed brown sugar
1/2c     butter, softened
2          eggs
1/2tsp  cinnamon
1tsp      baking soda
1/2tsp   salt
1/4tsp   baking powder
1tsp       vanilla

Combine all ingredients in a large bowl and beat/mix with a mixer at medium speed until all ingredients are mixed well.  Scrap the bowl sides often.

Place all the batter into a greased baking pan (your choice of a loaf pan or bundt pan).  Bake for 45 to 55 mins or until a toothpick, inserted into the center, comes out clean.

Cool completely and enjoy!

**You can also add about a half a bag of milk chocolate chips to the batter after the other ingredients are well mixed.  Just fold the chips into the batter until well mixed and place the batter in your pan and bake.

(this is a recipe that I found somewhere (?) and changed to suit my likings)
