This week...

  • I seriously think this week has been the most hectic in a long time.  It's kind of bothering me.  A lot.
  • I went and started another project.  I had to have something to work on while I wait at the library for the girls and their group stuff.  Sorry but there is only so much reading one can do and I'm caught up on all the current magazines there.
  • And no, the monster size quilt is not done.  It will still be a while.  Because...
  • Apparently, some where in my crazy little world, I don't have enough to do so I went and bought paint... wait for it... to repaint the house.  Seriously.  But the poor thing needs a good coat all over before it decides to pull up from the foundation and wander off in total disgust.  It may not be that bad but in my eyes it is.  I will have a cool colored front door when I'm done.  Now I must go and start scraping paint off.

  1. You sound busy. What color did you decide to go with? Hope you have nice weather for your outdoor activity. :-) Heather

  2. Oh do I know busy :) I need to paint the trim around the windows this fall, and really should be doing it before it gets too cold, and I have a lot of scraping to do too.

  3. YOU are the energizer bunny! You go girl. I have no doubt the house will great once your done and I do like all the swatches above. I agree with the reading thing, best to keep your hands busy while waiting and now that we are officially into Fall I think it's all good. Heck I even took a time out to knit a few rows today :) Happy Sunday buddy

  4. Oh! Can't wait to see photos of your newly painted house! What color will you paint the front door?

  5. I am sorry, I should not have chuckled at your post.
I am sad that you are stressed, however, I had to chuckle because this sounded like something I would do.
I remember all too recently, that we were literally hours before a family reunion this summer and the house still needed cleaning, food prepared, and I decided that I wanted to make new curtains for the window on the porch...WHAT! My husband thought I had seriously gone off the deep end.
I like all those colors of paint!

  6. I don't know how I missed this post, but here I am! I like the two main colors that you decided upon. And with your new front door, you'll be the talk of the town. *wink*
