Mom's quilt...

The sun came out, so bright and shiny, so I could finally take pics of Mom's quilt.
Never mind the fact that it happened as we were going into the store to get a few necessities and I rushed everyone through there just so we could get home before the dark gray clouds decided to move in again.

It will be on it's way tomorrow Mom!
Love ya!

  5. Beautiful! I love the back. I would never think to make the back pretty too. Maybe that's because I never seem to get past the quilt top stage?

  13. That is just beautiful Kar. I've been thinking of starting to learn how to quilt. Do you have any suggestions on how to get started? Lessons locally are a bit expensive. Do you think that is the best way though?

  15. I really like this quilt!

PS I had a great weekend, but needed one more day to finish folding clothes and the ironing. I'm thinking about finding someone in town who irons. :-)
