That's quite the stack you have going there....Now for the fun part -- putting it all together. I've got some projects taking root in my mind. I suppose now is the time to execute them.
Love the Jelly Rolls :). I recently started knitting slippers for family gifts. Thankfully its a quick and easy pattern, i cant believe Christmas is only a handful of weeks away. Where did this year go!
It's been quite sometime since I last wrote and it's been so long since I have been on my crochet blogspot that I forgot the password and email address I used so I had to start over. It's been a long year and I have not pick up a ball of yarn nor a piece of fabric. My daughter 24 (she turned 25 on Aug. 4th) was diagnosed with Met Breast Cancer, widespread, it was to far gone to do anything more than keep her comfortable and so I spent this past year caring for her, she passed away on Oct. 30th. I am devastated and traumatized over watching what she went through and over losing my only daughter (she was my first love, my heart) but at the same time relieved that she is now at peace and dancing with the angels. I always loved reading your blog, your family adventures and the beautiful things you made your girls always made me smile so here I am checking out your blog once again in hopes of being cheered up. I created a new crochet blog "Nuts Over Crochet" http://nutsoveryarn.blogspot.com/ I could not remember my old email or password so I just made another crochet blog. Happy Thanksgiving to you and yours. I am going to try to make a hat this weekend for a co-worker of my husbands.
Kar...the piecing on your squares look so nice and neat. I am excited to see how your project turns out because you are using some really pretty fabrics. Now that I have their doll quilts done I am focusing on knitting the girls hats with matching wrist-warmers.
Your quilting project looks beautiful to me :)
ReplyDeleteYepp, spinning sock yarns and knitting warm socks for xmas gifts.
Is there anything more wonderful than a pile of fabric being sewn into something beautiful? The colours are gorgeous.
